Ask about fit, age range, and current availability.
Use the approved workflow for coverage or records questions.

More structure during the day

Day Treatment and Partial Hospitalization Programs provide coordinated care during scheduled daytime hours. They can offer a higher level of structure than routine outpatient appointments while allowing participants to return home rather than stay overnight.

An individualized program may include therapy, behavioral support, skills groups, experiential activities, family participation, crisis-prevention planning, and coordination with other providers. Day Treatment and PHP are distinct program levels; the recommended option depends on clinical need and what is approved at the specific clinic.

Common questions

Straight answers before you reach out

Is Day Treatment or PHP the same as inpatient or overnight care?

No. These programs provide structured daytime behavioral health support while the participant returns home rather than staying overnight.

How is Day Treatment different from routine outpatient appointments?

Day Treatment and PHP can provide a higher level of structure and coordinated daytime programming than routine outpatient visits, but the right level depends on assessment, need, and approved program availability.

Does every Crimson Heights clinic offer PHP?

No. Program level and availability vary by clinic. Cedar City and Salem have management-confirmed PHP programs, but current capacity, schedule, payer participation, and authorization still need to be verified directly.
