Compensation: $20.00 – $23.00 per hour

Job Responsibilities

Curriculum Development: Design and implement curriculum aligned with state standards and tailored to individual needs.

Instructional Delivery: Use diverse teaching methods and technology to create engaging, differentiated lessons.

Assessment and Monitoring: Evaluate student progress through assessments and adapt instruction based on data.

Individualized Education Planning: Work with special education teams to support students with IEPs through modified instruction.

Behavior Management: Maintain a safe classroom using proactive, positive behavior strategies and consistent management.

Family Communication: Collaborate with parents/guardians to communicate progress and support student growth at home and school.

Professional Collaboration: Participate in team meetings, staff development, and school-wide initiatives to support a positive school culture.
Job Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Education or related field (Master’s preferred).

Valid Utah teaching license for Secondary Education (preferred).

1+ years of teaching experience at the secondary level, particularly in ELA and/or Science.

Familiarity with curriculum design, instructional strategies, and student assessments.

Strong classroom management and communication skills.

Ability to collaborate effectively with students, families, and staff.

Flexibility and resilience in working with students in a therapeutic setting.
