FAQ

Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) is a scientifically-based therapy focused on understanding and improving behaviors. It helps us understand how behavior works, how it’s influenced by the environment, and how learning occurs. ABA uses this knowledge to create meaningful, positive changes in behavior.

Enhancing Communication: Increases language and communication skills.

Building Social Skills: Improves attention, focus, social skills, and academic performance.

Reducing Problem Behaviors: Decreases behaviors that are harmful or hinder learning.

ABA therapy has been effectively used for decades to help children with autism and other developmental disorders develop essential skills.

ABA services may be covered by private health insurance and Medicaid, depending on your specific plan and state regulations.

Each ABA program is tailored to the individual’s needs, with specific goals set and regularly reviewed by a BCBA. Programs cover a range of skill areas and involve both planned and natural learning opportunities.
