We use a behavior skills training approach. We teach the skills, we model the skills, we rehearse the skills and then provide reinforcement and feedback. We use an experiential approach in clinic, community and home settings. We believe skills need to be taught and reinforced naturally so they can generalize into all settings of life.

Our Purpose

At Crimson Heights we have the heart and passion to help children, youth and young adults with social, communication and executive functioning challenges move closer to independence. These challenges may be known as autism, intellectual disability, traumatic brain injury, ADHD, Reactive Attachment, Trauma, Oppositional Defiance, Conduct issues, and Obsessive-compulsive disorder. We offer services to these individuals and just about everyone else.

We use evidence based practices to teach individuals on the skills needed to be successful in their life. We strive to make the lives of the individuals we serve healthier and happier.

Mission

Andi graduated from the University of Utah in Healthcare/Hospital Administration with an emphasis in Behavioral Health, as well as a degree in Sociology. Andi has over 20 years of experience in the field of healthcare administration within various industries and has worked extensively in administration throughout her professional career. As Director of Business Development, she is responsible for encompassing developing infrastructure, promoting and ensuring growth and development, analyzing current processes, and recommending and implementing procedural or policy changes to improve operations. She also provides input on recruiting and employee relations, information technology as well as managing our scheduling department, adult and teen day treatment programs, community programs, and extension offices in Cedar City, Kanab, Hilldale, and Mesquite. She works with community partners, maintains credentialing, and collaborates with outreach programs in local communities. Andi believes that administration and passion in this industry is the backbone of daily business operations. Her goal is to ensure that the entire administrative function is strategically aligned with all other business functions and supports the successful creation, launch, execution, and sustainability of Crimson Heights LLC and all it has to offer.

Nathan earned a Bachelor of Science degree in psychology from Brigham Young University and continued his education at the University of Nevada Las Vegas where he earned a Master of Business Administration. Relying on his education and professional experience, he has spent two decades within the social service industry, including 16 years of executive leadership positions overseeing and developing policy and program operations in both the for-profit and non-profit sectors. He enjoys creating and cultivating supports and programs for people in care, specifically at-risk youth, individuals impacted by foster care, as well as individuals with intellectual disabilities, including those on the spectrum and individuals with TBI diagnosis. He has a passion for serving people and gains great satisfaction from seeing individuals grow as they acquire confidence in overcoming perceived limitations. When he isn’t in the office, he is usually found riding his motorcycle or climbing mountains with his wife and four kids.

Hello!! My name is Anthony (Tony) Maiocco. I am a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) with over a decade's worth of experience in the field. Throughout that time some of those duties included designing, implementing, and teaching Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA) principles and concepts to employees, parents, and individuals with mental and developmental disorders. A few of the contexts in which I designed, implemented, and taught ABA are in residential facilities, clinics, communities, schools, and family home settings. The age range of individuals I have experience working with is from as young as two years old to more than 80 years old. All of the individuals that I have worked with have had single and multiple diagnosis, some of those diagnoses are, but not limited to chemical dependencies, Oppositional Defiant Disorder, Depression, ADHD, ADD, OCD, Autism, Fragile X, Intellectual disabilities, RAD, Cerebral Palsy, PICA, Down Syndrome, Prader Willi, Mood/Conduct Disorder, PANDAS, dyslexia, and more. I firmly believe that as long as a person is physically capable of performing an action, as long as we can establish motivation and be consistent, we can teach that person any behavior.

Dallas graduated from the University of Utah, receiving his Master’s Degree in Social Work. Dallas has almost a decade of experience working with a wide variety of demographics, including individuals with Autism, anxiety, depression, trauma, and more. Dallas is trained in an evidence based treatment modality, EMDR. Dallas believes in getting outside, being active, and using experimental activities as a learning tool for treatment and success.

Elysia graduated from San Diego State University with a Master’s degree in Social Work and is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Utah. Elysia is fully trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing therapy (EMDR) and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT). She has experience in treating individuals with PTSD, depression, anxiety, ADHD, addiction, grief and loss, and Reactive Attachment DIsorder (RAD). Elysia is passionate about helping her clients heal from trauma and addressing underlying issues to client’s presenting problems.

Abby graduated with her Master’s degree in Social Work from Boise State University. She serves clients with a wide range of diagnoses, utilizing a variety of modalities and regularly incorporating experiential outdoor sessions to her work. Abby is passionate about working with families and individuals impacted by autism. She has worked in a variety of settings, across a span of ages ranging from early intervention, high school special education, through continued adulthood. When not in the therapy office, Abby spends lots of time with her husband, 2 children and her handful of dogs outside soaking up the sunshine. You can usually catch her strolling through any farmers market or out looking for foodtrucks to try.

Aloha! My name is Richard Hau’oli Crowell, Marriage & Family Therapist from the Hawaiian Islands (O’ahu)! My experience includes individual, family, and group therapeutic services with various psychiatric conditions such as Neurodevelopmental, Depression, Anxiety, Trauma, Disruptive Impulsive Control and Conduct Disorders. I have experience working in multiple therapeutic settings including psychiatric residential, inpatient & outpatient as well as maximum security facilities. Moreover, I’ve spent over 10 years working contractually with the Judiciary and Healthcare (Medicaid, Medicare) systems specializing in providing family intervention and treatment services, community-based case management, patient education, provider relations support, and value-based care expertise. I have the privilege of raising a rather small family of 8 (grin) most of which are all student-athletes, graduated, and one learning how to use the potty (smile). As a Marriage & Family therapist, I truly believe in the power of a family-centered approach towards health, healing, and essential well-being. I’ve been working with children and their families for over 15 years, in Hawaii and across the nation. I feel very strongly about using compassionate ABA to help make meaningful change for individuals with disabilities and in using progressive behavioral interventions to teach meaningful life skills to help clients reach their fullest potential. I have worked in all areas of behavioral therapy for clients and with all ages and abilities, from early intervention to social and executive functioning skills with teens. Heidi has worked with individuals on the autism spectrum for over 20 years. She graduated from ASU with a Master's Degree in Education Curriculum and Instruction in August of 2017 and became a Board Certified Behavior Analyst the following February. She specializes in working with high support needs clients on the autism spectrum. Heidi believes in a positive approach, using techniques that promote confidence, independence and self-esteem. She is passionate about her work and values parent input in creating treatment plans that improve quality of life for the families she works with.

Since entering the clinical ranks in 2019, I've found a deep sense of purpose working with those with social-emotional disorders and trauma. My main focus as a BCBA is to program to teach others the skills they need to depend on themselves, take care of themselves, and interact with the world and others meaningfully.

I’m Sydnie; a licensed Associate Clinical Mental Health Counselor (ACMHC) and a graduate of the Masters in Clinical Mental Health Counseling program at the University of the Cumberlands in Kentucky. I have experience working with teens and children who struggle with anxiety, depression, anger, and other mental health conditions. Along with modalities such as DBT and Motivational Interviewing, I use a client-centered approach that focuses on promoting change to help the client grow toward their best self. Aidan has been immersed in the field of mental health for nearly a decade with about half of that time being with adolescents in residential treatment. A Seattle native, Aidan moved to Southern Utah to be surrounded by mountains and canyons rather than high rises and skyscrapers. Aidan believes in the healing powers of nature and is a very active person, so if you are interested in a unique therapy session outdoors or in the gym, then Aidan might be a great fit for you.   Aidan’s primary therapeutic modality consists of cognitive behavioral therapy. Aidan has a diverse experience of working with individuals who are survivors of traumatic events. Aidan is in the process of being trained in other trauma informed modalities, such as trauma focused-CBT, EMDR, and Internal Family Systems. This research has fueled his passion for the employee experience and inspired he hopes to pursue a master's degree in Industrial/Organizational Psychology in the future. With over 15 years of leadership experience, Chris is an established leader in his field. Jamie is a Social Service Worker, RBT, and will be our first fully credentialed Family Peer Support Specialist with High Fidelity Wrap Around Services. Jamie is one of the founding members of Crimson and has helped build our team, train our teams, and make a difference with the many individuals we serve in our adult community services. Jamie has a passion for helping others and is a natural leader. You may catch her at Tab or the Loft or may see her at one of your clients' SOC meetings.
